Come to explore possibilities in our community. What are your dreams for the future? Where do you want to live? What career path do you wish to follow? What recreational activities do you wish to take part in?
This is an ideal opportunity for students, parents, families, caregivers, educators, friends and others to gather and learn who in Windsor-Essex assists young people who live with developmental or related disabilities, after they have finished high school. Please join in and learn more about transition planning!

Information booths will be available after presentations!
Hear information about: Employment Support Relations, Continuing Education, Volunteer Opportunities, Recreational Ideas, and Information & Networking with other families, Income/ODSP and Other Financial Information (RDSP), Independent Facilitation and Planning, and Community Support Organizations.
Grassroots groups, local organizations and government funded adult services have all been invited to meet with you to share information about themselves and how they can help with the transition to adulthood. You will be able to meet the key contacts from the local Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) office. This agency manages lists and access to government funded community participation programs, employment, specialized support options, PASSPORT funding, paid advocacy and future residential supports & services for adults who live with a developmental or intellectual disability & is 18 years and older.
In partnership with Windsor Essex Brokerage for Personal Supports, Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board, Greater Essex County District School Board, Family Respite Services, Developmental Services Ontario.
